COMPARISON OF DURATION OF SURGERY OF CONVENTIONAL DISSECTION CIRCUMCISION AND PLASTIBELL DEVICE CIRCUMCISION

The study aimed to compare Conventional dissection circumcision and Plastibell device in terms of mean duration surgery. Study design: Quasi-Experimental Study. Place study: Eleven months from January 10, 2021, December the Department General Surgery, Nescom Hospital. Methodos: Subjects were randomly divided equally into two groups. Group A included 40 patients who underwent conventional circumcision, group B circumcision. Operative time was noted minutes both Results: Mean operative found 14.25 min ± 1.92 SD, for B, it 4.88 0.73 SD (P<0.05). Conclusion: Circumcision by plastic bell method resulted a significant reduction operating compared technique. This technique could be adopted on routine basis lessen burden busy operation theater schedule.
